Our story
Built by an owner who still walks every job.
Confer Developments was founded by Hezrom Onchomba after years of watching homeowners get the same story from every contractor in Dallas: vague proposals, drifting timelines, change orders that arrived after demo. We started Confer to do the opposite — to give people a builder they could actually reach, who showed up, and who treated their home like our reputation depended on it. Because it does.
Today we work across custom homes, whole-home renovations, additions, kitchens, baths, outdoor living, commercial improvements, and investor projects throughout the Dallas metro. Every project is owner-involved, project-manager-led, and built by trade partners we've worked with for years.
